Stress often begins and ends in the mind of man. It starts there and it can cause huge problems someday. That is why mental activities like meditation is said to be effective in stress reduction. It combats different forms of stress that would lead to extreme danger someday. Our body reacts to stress, and the more it reacts the more it is susceptible to danger and harm. That is why meditation is up to reduce and to reverse the process. Meditation allows the body to relax into a deeper state and then it makes some repairs. It allows the body to restore itself from being damaged by stress. This is also more on mental therapy by allowing the mind to work and to ponder until a perfect relaxed state is established, or until all the problems are totally released. Some would say that it is freeing the mind and become one with yourselves and emptying it from all the troubles that this world has offered.
